Verdict
Google Business Profile finally schedules its own posts. Since late 2025 you can set Updates, Offers, and Events to publish later, free, right in the profile dashboard, which closes a long-standing gap for single-location businesses.
For years the answer to scheduling Google Business posts was a third-party tool, because Google simply didn't offer it. That changed in late 2025: there's now a 'Schedule this post' toggle when you create an Update, Offer, or Event, you pick a date and time, and Google publishes it for you, free. For a single-location business that just wants to keep its profile fresh, that's all you need. The limits are what push bigger operations elsewhere. There's no bulk scheduling, no calendar, no recycling, and no unified view across locations, so a multi-location brand or an agency managing many profiles will still want a cross-network tool that talks to the Business Profile API and bundles approvals and reporting. As a native, no-cost convenience, though, it's a welcome and overdue addition, and it means most small businesses no longer need to pay for a scheduler just to post to Google.
