Verdict
Feedly isn't a social media scheduler at all. It's a content-discovery and monitoring tool, an RSS reader with AI on top, that social media managers use to find and track content. To actually schedule, you pair it with a real scheduler.
Worth being clear up front: Feedly doesn't publish or schedule social posts. What it does, and does very well, is solve the other half of the job, finding things worth posting and keeping tabs on your industry. You follow blogs, publications, newsletters, and topics, and on the paid plans Feedly's AI (Leo) filters the noise, deduplicates, and surfaces what matters, with an Enterprise tier that turns into proper market and threat intelligence. From there you share an article manually or push it into Buffer or Hootsuite via an integration. So in a social workflow it's a feeder, not the engine: pair it with one of the schedulers on this list and it becomes a strong content-discovery and listening layer. As a standalone answer to 'what should I use to schedule posts', it isn't one, and that's the honest verdict. If your bottleneck is ideas and monitoring rather than publishing, it's excellent value at $6 to $8 a month; if you need to actually post, you still need a scheduler.
Pros and cons
The good
- Best-in-class content discovery and RSS aggregation
- Feedly AI filters, deduplicates, and prioritises sources
- Strong monitoring and market intelligence on higher tiers
- Cheap Pro and Pro+ plans, plus a free tier
The catch
- Not a scheduler: no publishing, calendar, or auto-posting
- Needs a separate tool (and often Zapier) to actually post
- Enterprise market intelligence is expensive
- Social 'sharing' is manual, one article at a time

- Feedly is a content reader and discovery tool, not a social scheduler. It does not schedule or auto-publish social posts; it surfaces content you can then share manually or push into a scheduler like Buffer or Hootsuite (often via Zapier), which means paying for two tools.
- Plans: a free tier (100 sources), Pro at $6 a month on annual billing, Pro+ at $8.25 (adds Feedly AI / Leo), and an Enterprise market-intelligence plan from around $1,600 a month.
- Prices are USD from current listings.
- It's included here because social media managers use it to find and monitor content, not because it publishes.
