Rella pricing: seats, client spaces and approval requirements

Rella charges per team-member seat. Its monthly prices are USD $30 for Pro, $59 for Premium and $79 for Premium Plus. With annual billing, the advertised equivalents are $24, $48 and $64 per seat per month, paid as $288, $576 or $768 per seat each year. Rella pricing.

Count the people who edit the work before counting clients. A client who only views, comments or approves does not need a subscription seat. A client who edits content does. All subscribed team members must use the same tier and billing frequency, so one person's need for a higher-tier feature can change the whole team's bill. Member permissions and billing rules.

PlanMonthly price per seatAnnual price per seatApproval distinction
ProUSD $30USD $288Review can be managed with custom statuses; no Approve/Reject buttons
PremiumUSD $59USD $576Anyone or one named approver
Premium PlusUSD $79USD $768Anyone or multiple named approvers

Prices come from Rella's pricing page; approval rules come from its approval settings guide.

Pro excludes Ella AI. Premium includes AI usage, while Premium Plus advertises unlimited AI usage alongside additional support and branding features. Choose the plan around the work you need to complete; the presence of AI does not tell you how useful its output will be for a particular client. Plan inclusions.

For approvals, ask a precise question: does any authorized reviewer need to agree, must one particular person agree, or must several named people agree? A marketing manager alone can fit the single-named-approver option. A workflow requiring both that manager and a separate stakeholder needs the multiple-approver option.

Six client spaces do not mean six paid seats

A Social Space separates a brand's calendar, projects, tasks and media. Rella says additional Social Spaces carry no extra charge, and its pricing advertises unlimited social profiles. An agency can therefore grow its client roster without automatically adding another seat for every client. Social Spaces, pricing.

Consider two paid production members managing six client spaces, with one external reviewer for each client. The example assumes those reviewers never edit content and that all six spaces use features available on the chosen tier.

TierTwo seats, monthly billingTwo seats, annual billAnnual monthly equivalent
ProUSD $60/monthUSD $576/yearUSD $48/month
PremiumUSD $118/monthUSD $1,152/yearUSD $96/month
Premium PlusUSD $158/monthUSD $1,536/yearUSD $128/month

These are arithmetic totals from the advertised rates, before any applicable tax. The annual equivalent is useful for comparison, but the annual bill is the commitment to budget.

If a third production member joins, the annual totals become $864 on Pro, $1,728 on Premium or $2,304 on Premium Plus. On monthly billing, three seats cost $90, $177 or $237 respectively. Adding a seventh client space alone does not produce the same seat increase.

For the original two-member team, upgrading from Premium to Premium Plus increases the annual bill by $384. That is the relevant cost if one client's approval process requires multiple named approvers and the entire team must move tiers. Count that requirement before treating Premium's entry price as your agency's total.

Paid access and publishing permissions are separate decisions

Rella's role named Editor is limited to editing existing content, tasks and notes. Managers can create and schedule content within their assigned spaces. Owners and Admins have broader organization-level access, and Admins automatically have access to every Social Space. Role definitions.

In practice, buying someone a seat does not answer what they should be allowed to do. Give a person who manages one client a role and space assignment that cover that client. Avoid using an organization-wide administrative role simply to solve a scheduling-access problem.

Set the approval gate deliberately

On Premium and Premium Plus, approval settings can require sign-off before auto-posting. The default applies to new content; individual posts have their own Require approval setting. Saving a default approver also does not send the approval request automatically. Approval settings.

When changing a client's process, inspect the existing queue as well as new drafts. Confirm who is assigned, whether approval is required, and who is responsible for requesting it. A board status such as “Ready” should not be your only evidence that the required person signed off.

Rella's seat model deserves a close look when a small production team manages many client spaces. Compare Planable versus Rella if workspace-based pricing might fit better, or the HeyOrca review if the client calendar is the main unit of work.
