What can Blotato's free trial actually tell you?

Blotato's seven-day trial is useful for exploring its web-app workflow, but the trial's 60 AI credits are a small sample of its paid generation allowance. Starter costs USD 29 per month and includes 1,250 credits; Creator costs USD 97 with 5,000; Agency costs USD 499 with 28,000. Starter lists 20 social accounts and Creator 40. There is an important billing boundary: the trial excludes API access. Generating a Blotato API key immediately ends the free trial and starts paid subscription billing, even if trial days remain. Use the limited trial allowance to answer a narrow question. Can you create an asset in the format you need, correct its factual details and prepare the right destination-specific draft? It cannot establish the consistency of a month's output or how many finished assets your brand will accept.

How much content do 1,250 credits buy?

The answer depends on the model and video settings. The published credit table lists GPT-image-1 at 25 credits per image and Veo 3.1 Fast at 35 credits per second without audio, or 50 with audio. Model credit rates.

Here is an illustrative budget using those published rates. Confirm the available model, clip length and displayed job cost before generating.

Adding audio to the same hypothetical clips changes their cost to 4 × 5 × 50 = 1,000 credits. Together with the images, that is 1,500 credits, exceeding Starter's monthly allowance by 250. Small setting changes can matter more than the number of files in your calendar.

Successful regenerations also belong in the budget. If an image is technically generated but rejected by an editor, it has not become free. Record accepted assets separately from completed generations. A rendering error and an unwanted successful result are different outcomes.

What should a complete production check include?

Start with one fictional product or topic brief. Specify the facts the asset must preserve, including names, price, spelling and a destination URL. Keep a copy of that brief beside the generated draft so the review has an objective reference.

Then work through five steps:

1. Generate the first asset and record the model, settings and credits shown.
2. Check factual accuracy, readable text, crop and brand requirements.
3. Record each successful regeneration and any manual editing time.
4. Prepare the caption and destination-specific draft, checking the account and scheduled time.
5. Count the asset as accepted only after a human would actually use it.

This separates an attractive first impression from a repeatable publishing process. Someone producing simple graphics may reach a different decision from a creator generating multiple video scenes for every post.

How should you calculate the cost of usable output?

Use this formula for your own evaluation: allocated subscription cost, plus extra generation spend, plus editing time valued at your chosen hourly rate, divided by accepted assets.

For example, assigning USD 29 of subscription cost and two hours of editing at an assumed USD 30 per hour to 20 accepted assets gives (29 + 60) ÷ 20 = USD 4.45 each. These are planning assumptions; replace them with your own figures. The subscription also pays for functions beyond generation.
